Official says Russia’s 2021 grain harvest forecast at 127.4 mln tns

MOSCOW, Oct 7 (PRIME) -- The Russian Agriculture Ministry targets at raising grain production  to 127.4 million tonnes in 2021 and to 141 million tonnes in 2024, Roman Nekrasov, head of the crop department, said at a trade fair on Wednesday.

The oil seed crop is planned at 24.2 million tonnes in 2021 and 29.3 million tonnes in 2024. The potato harvest is expected at 7.2 million tonnes in 2021 and 7.6 million tonnes in 2024, vegetable crop at 6.8 million tonnes and 7.4 million tonnes respectively.
